What is withdrawal of consent?

The data subject has the right to withdraw his or her permission at any time under the GDPR. The withdrawal of consent has no effect on the legality of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. Prior to providing consent, the data subject will be informed, making it as simple to withdraw as it is to provide consent.
